Wang Tic Agricultural Foundation is an indigenous non-profit community-based organization established for the purpose of promoting agricultural development in Uganda especially the northern Uganda. The Foundation is seeking applications for the various vacant positions that exists for an upcoming project titled ‘’Sustainable Food and

Nutrition Security and Promotion of Commercial Agriculture’’ in Lango sub region.

The project is being supported by locally raised funds amongst farmers through annual membership subscription, registration fees and other external sources in the pipe line. The anticipated program aims at creating a sustainable food system and income generation within the communities by ‘’growing food that we rely on and relying on food that we grow’’. The organization is currently mobilizing farmer groups, women and youths in the three (3) districts of Lango sub region (Otuke, Alebtong & Lira) to engage as part of phase 1 pilot implementation of its programming starting in January 2025. In line with these, the organization is expanding its operations by opening a field office in the district of Otuke. These activities focus on individuals, farmer groups, schools, women and youths, community, agripreneuers and institutional levels to address the underlying causes of food insecurity, malnutrition and poverty.

The organization therefore wishes to recruit suitably qualified Ugandan nationals ONLY (aged 18yrs – 35 yrs) to fill in the vacant positions that exist at both H/Qtrs and Field office as listed below.

  2. Go to careers, select the job and access job details OR go to identified application submission spots, select and access the job details to apply.
  3. Download and print the membership form. OR from the submission spots, pick the membership application form.
  4. Fill in the form and indicate Registration Reference Number (RRN). The procedure for obtaining RRN is clearly shown on the membership application form and also on our Note: Application without the RRN will NOT be considered.
  5. Attach a duly filled membership application form together with application letter and your current CV only.
